Barbara is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CS America. CyberStaff America, LTD is a leading technology staffing, and eLearning consulting company. It is a privately held, WBENC (Women Business Enterprise National Council) certified Women owned Business and the second largest WBE with sales to Merrill Lynch exceeding $52MM in 2001.
Barbara will share her own experiences as a business leader, detailing the challenges that rapid expansion created, and how her business survived the economic downturn when competitors closed their doors.
*** Leadership Workshop Led By Daniel White, Chair of the New York Association of Leadership Coaching and Senior Partner at EmployeeROI
To illustrate this interactive workshop on Leadership, Dan will leverage a recent successful case study in which he helped a company`s newly appointed CEO to develop the leadership skills she needed - to move from being a manager of people to leader of the whole organization.
Daniel White has over 30 years experience guiding companies and individual leaders in transition. Dan earned his Masters in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
** Co-Masters of Ceremony: Maria Hernandez, Director e-business on demand Business Operations at IBM
Maria Hernandez serves as Director, e-business on demand Business Continuity Solutions at IBM, responsible for the creation and market readiness of customer solutions in the area of I/T security and business resiliency. In her 20 years at IBM, Ms. Hernandez has demonstrated her leadership and technical skills in a broad spectrum of experiences including technology and business, sales and marketing, Internet and I/T consulting.
Ms. Hernandez has also been a passionate leader in diversity initiatives by being the founder and Chair of a Latino affinity group with a track record of accomplishments in networking, mentoring, recruiting, and community outreach. She extended this network model to the Latina women leaders at IBM and provided a forum for networking and leadership development. Her most recent undertaking is the launch of Madrinas a network for Latinas leaders across corporate America with a focus on leadership and career advancing strategies.
** Co-Masters of Ceremony: Georgette Geller, Vice President Northeast Division at AXA Advisors, LLC
Georgette Geller-Petro is a 14-year veteran of AXA Advisors, LLC., and has received numerous accolades as a top producer and manager.
With over 1800 active clients, Georgette is a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable, which represents the top 5% of Financial Professionals in the world. She has achieved her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant degrees, and is a graduate of Boston University with degrees in both Economics and Business.
** Business Networking Facilitator: Nancy Ploeger, President of The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce will help facilitate business networking among participants.
